Mrs. Comfort Keah Itoka, President of Gyabolnders & Friends-US, INC, who is also a member of the Freeport Merrick Rotary Club, New York, was honored by the Queensborough President, Donovan Richards in partnership with the African Diaspora Advisor at the NYC Commission on Human Rights for her humanitarian work both in her community and abroad.

 She received the award at the Queens Borough Hall, Helen Marshall Cultural Center, on June 1, 2023, to celebrate her contributions to making the African communities in Queens vibrant and well-resourced. 

In her remarks, Comfort expressed her belief in giving back to the least fortunate without limits because a giving heart should have no boundaries. She also expressed that immigrants should not always be at the receiving end of service but must become involved in their local community by donating their time, talent, and treasure to those communities.
